Meet Lavender! She is looking for a foster or fur-ever home. Lavender came to us all the way from Thailand where she was rescued from becoming a victim of the meat trade.
She originally started out at a different rescue but she was too fearful for their program so she was moved to The Devoted Barn. Well we are happy to report that fear is no longer an issue for her! She is just a happy little girl now. We can’t even really label her shy anymore!
Lavender loves to go on walks and go exploring with her people. She is always so happy when people stop by her kennel to visit with her. Lavender is dog selective so proper, slow introductions will be necessary for her to successfully live in a home with another dog. She is also looking for a home without any other animals. However, Lavender loves kids (5 years or older, toddlers make her a little anxious) and people of all shapes and sizes!
She is currently in a temporary foster home and has been learning how to live in a home and quickly became 100% potty trained. When left alone for periods of time she does great and is not destructive. Loves walks and exploring. She is a flight risk so a fenced yard with a tether or someone to walk her would be best.
We just know the perfect home is out there for her somewhere!
