Great news! Chuppie is ready for his “FUR-EVER HOME”
Chuppie, is a senior sweetie that landed in Michigan from LA, California. He was suffering from a whole mess of health issues in California and we thought a new environment might help. Upon his arrival he was placed in a medical foster home.
Here's a note from his foster mom:
We were just a stepping stone in his journey. He has come full circle from the damaged little boy that arrived. I’m looking for a quiet home with maybe another elder dog, or non-confrontational pup, same size or larger (Chuppie is a shorter boy and about 38 pounds).
No small dogs. NO cats, as he is allergic. MUST have a fenced in yard due to the fact he is deaf but understands hand signals.
Chuppie takes 1/2 a pill/day for allergies but could possibly be weaned. He will come with his favorite bed, blankie, and bags of food and toys. He also has a few hundred dollars in credit at our vet clinic for anything he may need. He still needs a bath at least once a week, twice is ideal to promote new hair growth. He is a very good boy for bathing!
Chup did his rehab, here on our farm. Exposed to chickens, goats, Turkey’s and a pig. He is a very easy pup who loves a leashed walk and a car ride. Chuppie loves a snuggle and a small game of fetch. He is great with people and children of all ages.
He rests for most of the day and is looking for his special someone to love. He sleeps through the night and is crate trained but prefers to be near his human in his favorite bed.
Chuppie is 7-9 years old and may never get ALL his hair back but he has grown lots of new hair since arriving. That’s due to his good food that doesn’t have any allergens he reacts to. ($54 from Chewy.com- lasts for 3 months). We know this sweet boy sustained MANY injuries in his sad past but they are not slowing him down.
