Ginger is a feral pittie mix that landed in a shelter in Hazel Park. She was at risk of being euthanized because she was so shut down in a shelter environment but The Devoted Barn decided to give her a chance. She is roughly 3-4 years old. Ginger has been living in a foster home for a while now so she is housebroken and crate trained. She does well with other dogs. In fact she would do best in a home with another dog friend to show her the ropes.
Ginger had very little human interaction early on in her life so it takes her a while to warm up to new people. However, once Ginger warms up and gets comfortable she is your typical smooshy pibble. She loves to wrestle and play with her foster brother King but she’s also ready to snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie anytime! Ginger walks well on a leash however new places are still a little scary so she needs lots of reassurance.
There is nothing more rewarding than winning the trust of a formerly feral dog. Ginger is just waiting to find the right person to place her trust in…. could it be you?
