Mahlou

Hi there, my name is Mahlou, which means "warrior". I'm not sure mom gave me the right name but I do like to explore, so maybe that's why?

I'm a curious little chap, who loves to sniff all the sniffs and be outside. I'm super relaxed for a husky and naps are my forte! My foster mom has taught me to sit, wait and touch so far, we are working on down, off and chin. I'm super smart, love to snuggle, and I'm always up for meeting new friends.

My foster fur brothers Aussie and Peter are teaching me and Aelin the right way to greet people, they're the best! My sister Aelin is a little more shy than I am, I just like to go everywhere and greet everyone, although my foster mom says I need to work on my singing in the car. Apparently I'm a bit off-key with the music on the radio.

I'd love to meet my furever family, so if you're looking for a great pup, I'm your guy!

*** PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING*** Please note that we are ONLY looking for applications that have husky or strong working dog experience. Shelters have been filling up with huskies over the past several years. People adopt them because they are adorable but end up abandoning them because they can be a difficult breed to own. Huskies are smart and mischievous. They have very high energy and they need a job to do. These puppies would make awesome running buddies or would do well in a dog sport like nosework or sled pulling. Huskies have a strong prey drive and are escape artists. Despite all that, huskies are wonderful dogs for the right type of people. They will make you laugh every single day. We just want to make sure that these puppies end up in a home that will appreciate them for all their ridiculous antics.
